There she goes, there she goes again....
I've shown you spammers who send me many spams for different jobs, mostly fairly inappropriate for one reason or another. And I've shown you spammers who send me a spam or two for the same totally inappropriate job. Then there are the spammers who send me multiple spams for the same totally inappropriate job. Today's spammer is Insphere Insurance Solutions, specifically Susan Stepke, who sent me:

Maybe you'll care what I think-- It's Susan Stepke! When you post your resume to FREE job boards, you can expect to get e-mails regarding opportunities that you may or may not be interested in... doesn't mean it's spam! The opportunity I recruit for is a legitimate sales position in the insurance industry. just because it may not be for you, doesn't mean it's spam. I will make sure your name is taken out of our system. The searches are automated, and I don't pretend they are not. Good luck in your job search.
ReplyDeleteAnd since I've posted a resume, presumably I'm looking to trim expenses, so I'd be interested in some cut-rate pharmaceuticals from Canada, or some replica Rolexes (so much cheaper than the real thing), right? Nope, where you get your victim-list from doesn't make it any less spammy. If you'd trim it to those who have said they're looking for sales jobs, that would do the trick.

ReplyDeleteI filter any emails from anonredir@route.monster.com and if anyone in that list tries to contact me otherwise, I report them to the FTC, Monster, and any other authority that may have domain over them.
Also, for anyone interested (And ESPECIALLY 'Susan Stepke' if such a person does exist); if you attempt to dig a little on insphereis.com you will find a trail of broken half-registrations that look surprisingly like burner accounts. Just sharing my $0.02.
