Cure for Recruiter Spammorhea?

   Since last time, I've spent most of the time busy on a project.  That ended a few weeks ago, and I've spun the search machine back up again, so it's time for more Recruiting Rants while I can!

   Let's start off with one jerk who not only spammed me with an inappropriate "opportunity" (I get several per day), but he alone sent me multiple per day!  Over the course of a day or two, no problem... but we're talking about a month!  After a few days, I wrote back to tell him to see my web site and read about about what I wanted.  But I just got more spam.

   I called after a couple more days of it, and nobody answered (surprise!), but I left voicemail, giving my name and his, and asked anybody there to tell him to stop.  Result?  More spam.

   Over the next few weeks, during which I automatically routed all email from him straight to my spam folder, I wrote to the company via the contact form on their web site, called them again, and towards the ened, even started replying again, telling him to FOADIAF.  As you might have guessed... more spam.

   Shortly thereafter, I had had quite enough.  I found every email address I could at the company -- other recruiters, info, sales, whatever.  I quoted the latest spam back, told them the story, and said I would keep doing this until he stopped.  That finally got someone's attention, and I only had to do it one more time before I got an email of profuse apology.

   So, herewith, the first batch of entries in what you could consider a Hall of Shame.  Unfortunately I no longer have quite all of them, because my spam older than a month gets deleted automatically.  But still, perhaps this many repetitions of his email addresses will get him a taste of his own spam-based medicine:

A successful candidate must be able to work independently and have good communication skills. Understanding of hardware design is a definite plus.

Qualification requirements:

· Minimum 4 years experience developing drivers for  Windows 7 on x86 platform. Windows 8 experience is a plus.

· Thorough understanding of WDM and WDF. PnP and Power Management areas are especially important.

· Solid C/C++ coding skills.

· Solid kernel mode debugging skills and deep knowledge of WinDbg.
